My name is Jhenane. I am the founder of Natural Love Skincare Products. If you read my story under My Love Story, then you will understand my reason to why I started to create my own natural products. This section is for you to learn about me. My parents are from Haiti and they are a huge part of my life. They are my backbone and I love them very much. I was born here in the United States. I am the second out of four siblings. I have an older sister, little sister, and little brother. I am the first Haitian-American child in my family to graduate from college and earn college degrees, Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Registered Nurse. Currently, I am in graduate school, but I decided to take a year off to share with many of you what have changed my life. I am a mother to an amazing, energetic, loving, caring and beautiful daughter. She is my mini me but more of a fashionable diva. I am also an auntie to three wonderful nephews.
Besides making natural products and spending time with my daughter, I love spending time and catching up with my friends and sisters in Christ. They are amazing and beautiful group of professional women. We all come from different cultural backgrounds and that is what keep our relationship rich and strong. We learn a lot from each other. I love art, writing in my journal, reading, baking, cooking, traveling, the beach, art, craft, and enjoying life.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Through the years, I have learned that whatever we need is already here on Earth. So why reinvent the wheel. We just need to be wiser and embrace what’s already given to us. About 12 years ago, I made it my mission to find out what they are. I decided to change my life around and chose not to apply any harmful chemicals on my skin. I started to visually see the effects on my skin. I also became tired of reading about side effects. I even told myself that I wouldn't purchase anything that I couldn’t pronounce.
I became more aware of what I was putting on my skin. I started to read labels. Some of the ingredients I knew and could pronounce, while others I struggled to pronounce. The ingredients that I was familiar with I questioned their purpose in added to skincare product.
